KBH Management Institute
West New Britain Province is now opening up to a wide new range of industries such as the mining sector, mineral exploration sector, including the growth and expansion of the oil palm industry.
As a direct result, West New Britain is facing a dearth of management skills, and Kimbe Bay Hotel being in the hospitality industry, is immensely affected due to lack of skilled manpower.
KBH Management Institute addresses the skills shortage by operating a Management Skills institute within the hotel premises. We impart skill-based training in core hospitality areas such as culinary training, hotel operations training and management skills development training.
The hotel has one of the best training facilities available, with dedicated training halls, functional kitchen, functioning restaurants, well-appointed rooms, among other facilities and amenities.
Following short courses are offered:
- Certificate in HR – recruitment and selection
- Certificate in Hospitality Operations
- Short courses on Time Management and Telephone Etiquettes
Courses are registered under National Training Council, Papua New Guinea.
